USE / ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION
Method of administration: carry out the treatment by taking a strip from the bag and placing it in one of the four corners above the nest, away from the brood placed in the center of the hive. Close the hive and leave for 7 days. The strip can also be used by cutting it into 3-4 pieces and placing them in the corners of the hive. Repeat the treatment 4 consecutive times. At the end of the treatment, remove any residues present. It is not recommended to use the product in multiple box hives where insufficient efficacy can be expected. Integrated pest management plan The effectiveness of the hives may vary as a result of the surrounding conditions (temperature, re-infestation, etc.). The product should therefore be used as a treatment among those used within an integrated control plan and the fall of the mite be regularly monitored. Hives with an average fall of more than one mite per day two weeks after the last treatment, need further treatment in winter or spring (preferably with another active ingredient).

WARNINGS
Treatment with temperatures above 30 degrees C can increase stress and mortality in adult bees and broods. To obtain greater effectiveness, use the product at the end of summer after the honey harvest, when the quantity of brood present has decreased. The ideal external temperature for a good efficacy of the product during the treatment is between 20-25 degrees C. Insufficient efficacy can be expected if the average external temperature is lower than 15 degrees C. Carry out the treatments in the absence of a super. . Do not use the product during production but after the relative honey harvest. All hives in the same apiary must be treated simultaneously to avoid looting. Avoid hive ailment. Do not place the strip in the center of the hive or near the brood. Do not apply the product near a nourisher so as not to reduce feeding. It is not recommended to treat hives in cold weather. Special precautions to be taken by the person administering the product to animals: Due to possible contact dermatitis and skin and eye irritation observed with thymol, avoid direct contact with skin and eyes. Handle the product wearing waterproof gloves and the usual protective devices. After application, wash your hands and the material in contact with the strip with soap and water. In case of contact with the skin, wash the part thoroughly with water and soap. In case of contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with plenty of running water and call a doctor. Do not inhale. Overdose: in case of overdose due to introducing a greater number of strips into the hive than the correct one, it can create a disturbing action on bees by increasing their stress and inducing behavioral changes that lead them to leave the hive to stop outside it. If dead bees and larvae are found, remove excess strips if so.
