Bioflor is a food supplement containing a mixture of probiotic strains (Lactobacillus acidophilus LA-5, Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG LGG, Lactobacillus paracasei ATCC 55544, Bifidobacterium lactis BB-12 and Streptococcus thermophilus TH-4) useful for promoting the balance of the intestinal flora 'adult. The microorganisms in this formulation are microencapsulated in a polysaccharide matrix which makes them gastro-resistant. Adults, especially around the age of 40, undergo a physiological reduction in the presence of many strains of friendly bacterial flora, with a consequent greater predisposition to chronic constipation or, on the contrary, to diarrhea, digestive disorders, abdominal swelling and a sense of heaviness. The formulation is stable once the bottle is opened even at room temperature.
