Milk thistle
It is a particularly widespread plant in the south-western Mediterranean areas. Milk thistle is traditionally known for its effectiveness in supporting liver functions and for the following properties: - hepatoprotective and antioxidant action: it improves the function of hepatocytes (liver cells responsible for the metabolism of harmful substances) by acting as a membrane stabilizer and as a antioxidant,
- normolipemic action thanks to the stimulation of the metabolic activity of the hepatocyte,
- toning action thanks to the presence of Tiratina which acts synergistically with Silymarin, improving the energy resources of the hepatocyte.
The biological activity of milk thistle is mainly attributed to Silymarin: a blend of flavolignans such as Silybin, Silidionine and Silicristin. The substances present in the plant such as flavonoids, amino compounds and vitamins, together with Silymarin, form an extremely active and effective phytocomplex.

Ingrediants
For 4 tablets: dry extract (20-35: 1) of Carduus marianus (Milk thistle) fruit 540 - 608 mg (equal to 400 mg of silymarin calculated as silybinin).

How to use
Take 1 tablet 2 - 4 times a day to be swallowed with water.
Don't chew.

Warnings
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Keep out of the reach of children under three years of age.
Supplements are not intended as a substitute for a varied diet.
