Allerderm Spot-On by Virbac is a topical treatment for dogs and cats with skin problems, in particular dermatosis and superficial alterations. It restores the integrity and balance of damaged skin, decreasing its sensitivity and helping hydration.

Indications

The Allerderm Spot-on treatment is a topical dermatological product indicated for treating pets with skin problems. Its formula contains an exclusive compound of ceramides and fatty acids (Skin Lipid Complex) such as those present in the healthy skin of dogs and cats; for this reason it is particularly suitable as an adjuvant in canine and feline dermatoses and in cases of superficial skin alteration. Allerderm Spot-on helps restore the normal barrier function of the epidermis by improving hydration and decreasing sensitivity to harmful agents.

How to use

In cats: part the hair at the base of the neck until the skin is visible. Place the cannula directly in contact with the skin and gently press the body of the pipette so as to apply approximately half of the contents to this point. Repeat this operation between the cat's shoulder blades by completely emptying the pipette onto the skin. In the dog: part the hair between the dog's shoulder blades until the skin is visible. Place the cannula directly in contact with the skin and gently press the body of the pipette so as to apply part of the contents to this point. Repeat this operation along the topline in one or more points depending on the size of the dog, completely emptying the pipette on the skin. Starting dose: 1 pipette per week for 4 weeks. In severe cases, 2 to 3 pipettes per week can be used up to one per day if needed. Maintenance dose: in order to limit relapses as well as to maintain the health of the skin and hair, apply 1 pipette per month. Allerderm Spot On can also be applied directly on damaged skin areas. For best results apply after bathing when the coat is completely dry.
