Through an osmotic action, it regulates the intestine in a natural way. It is neither absorbed nor fermented in the intestine, it does not irritate the mucosa and is eliminated in the faeces in an unmodified form.
It is particularly indicated in chronic constipation and in cases of occasionally irregular bowel. In fact, thanks to its affinity for water, Agpeg softens the stool, facilitating evacuation without causing cramps or abdominal pain, or emergency conditions. Its effectiveness does not decrease over time.
Agpeg comes as a powder for oral solution.

How to use
Adults and children over 11 years (or> 20 kg): 10-30 g of product per day. The dose can be increased or decreased depending on the individual response to treatment.
In any case, it is advisable to consult a doctor. The maximum dose needed does not normally exceed 30 g of product per day.
Based on the dosage indicated above, take the quantity of product with the aid of the measuring cup with notches that allow you to dose 2.5 g (first notch) and 5 g (level measuring cup) of product. Dissolve a level measuring spoon (equal to 5 g) in about 1/2 glass of water (about 62.5 ml). Drink the solution thus reconstituted.
It is possible to divide the daily dose into several administrations. The product can be reconstituted in advance in the appropriate volume of water and the solution stored in the refrigerator covered for up to 24 hours. It is recommended to take Agpeg between meals.

Warnings
Do not exceed the maximum daily dose. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use in children under 11 years of age. During treatment with Agpeg it is advisable to follow an adequate diet, accompanied by the administration of an oral rehydration solution (ORS) to avoid dehydration, it is however advisable to consult your doctor.
Do not use the product for more than 30 days; If symptoms persist, consult a doctor.
Do not take Agpeg in case of known hypersensitivity to macrogol, gastrointestinal perforation and / or obstruction, known gastric or intestinal lesions, severe inflammatory diseases of the intestinal tract such as Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis and toxic megacolon.
During pregnancy and lactation the product must be used on medical prescription.
