Ecamannan Indications
High viscosity glucomannan-based supplement (type E425). Useful for weight reduction, reduction and maintenance of normal cholesterol level, maintenance of normal blood glucose level and constipation (IBS), diverticular disease and fecal incontinence.

Dosage and method of use
In case of obesity or overweight, take 2-3 capsules twice a day at the beginning of the meal with a glass of water.
In case of metabolism, take 2-3 capsules with main meals, with a glass of water.
In case of constipation take 2-3 capsules twice a day between meals with 1-2 glasses of water, if you are in attack therapy. If, on the other hand, you are in the maintenance period, take 2 capsules a day between meals, with a glass of water.
In case of irritable bowel, take 2-3 capsules with the two main meals, with a glass of water.
In case of faecal incontinence, take 2-3 capsules two / three times a day, between meals.
The contents of the capsules can also be poured onto foods, as it is odorless and tasteless and does not immediately gel.

Features
In case of obesity or overweight, the compact gel of glucomannan in the stomach increases the food bolus by slowing down the gastric emptying time, anticipates and prolongs the sense of satiety.
In case of dysmetabolisms, the gel formed by glucomannan incorporates the exogenous cholesterol and part of the bile acids that it eliminates with the faeces; in diabetes it reduces the post-prandial hyperglycemic peak and moderates the demand for insulin.
In case of constipation, it regulates intestinal function thanks to the formation of fecal mass with a compact but soft gel, and by reactivating intestinal peristalsis. It does not cause bloating and abdominal pain.
In case of irritable bowel, the bulk forming fibers such as glucomannan, due to their volumetric action, decrease the fast intestinal transit time and speed up the slow one. Therefore glucomannan taken with a lot of water can, in case of constipation , make the stool soft and firm, and without water, in case of diarrhea, allow stools to form.
In diverticular disease, the supply of gel-forming fiber such as glucomannan decreases intraluminal pressure and hinders inflammation of existing diverticula.
In case of faecal incontinence, glucomannan is useful because, taken with little water, it makes liquid stools more compact and solid and limits flatulence due to poor fermentability.
It does not contain gluten.
