NAME:
CONNECTIVINE

PHARMACOTHERAPEUTIC CATEGORY:
Preparations for the treatment of wounds and ulcerations.

ACTIVE PRINCIPLES:
Hyaluronic acid sodium salt.

EXCIPIENTS:
Cream 2 mg / g: polyethylene glycol 400 monostearate; decyl ester of oleic acid; emulsifying wax; glycerol; sorbitol solution 70%; methyl p-hydroxybenzoate; propyl p-hydroxybenzoate; aroma (Dalin PH); purified water.
Gel 2 mg / g: 70% sorbitol not crystallizable; methyl and p-hydroxybenzoate; propyl p-hydroxybenzoate; carbomer 940; sodium hydroxide; purified water.

INDICATIONS:
Treatment of abrasions, excoriations, superficial wounds, scottatur and, light burns and breast fissures; treatment of localized skin irritations caused by physical agents such as sun, cold, wind, diaper rash, irritation and dehydration resulting from radiotherapy treatments.

CONTRAINDICATIONS / SECONDAR EFFECT:
Hypersensitivity to the active ingredient and other substances closely related from a chemical point of view or to any of the listed excipients.

DOSAGE:
Cream 2 mg / g, Gel 2 mg / g: 2-3 applications per day, uniformly covering the entire affected area.

STORAGE:
Cream: Do not store above 30 degrees C.
Gel: Do not store above 25 degrees C.

WARNINGS:
The use of the product, especially if prolonged, can give rise to sensitization phenomena.
If this happens it is necessary to interrupt the treatment and institute a suitable therapy.

INTERACTIONS:
The association of hyaluronic acid with antibiotics and other local treatments has never given rise to interaction phenomena.
Do not use simultaneously with disinfectants containing quaternary ammonium salts as hyaluronic acid can precipitate in their presence.

SIDE EFFECTS:
Following application of the drug, local reactions, including allergic ones, have been recorded.
The reporting of suspected adverse reactions that occur after the authorization of the drug is important, as it allows continuous monitoring of the benefit / risk ratio of the drug.

PREGNANCY AND BREASTFEEDING:
The drug can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
