USE / ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION
Oral.

DOSAGE
30 mg of mebendazole / kg live weight / day: for two consecutive days in infestations sustained by Ancylostoma caninum, Ancylostoma braziliense, Uncinaria stenocephala, Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina, Toxocaracati, Trichuris vulpis, Strongyloides stercoralis, both single and Taenia sppiste. ; for one day only in infestions sustained by blood worms alone Ancylostoma caninum, Ancylostoma braziliense, Uncinaria stenocephala. TABLETS (for cats, small and medium-sized dogs): 1 tablet / 8 kg live weight / day. The tablet can be easily divided into four parts, each of which can be used to treat 2 kg live weight. MAXI TABLETS (for large dogs): 1 tablet / 16 kg live weight / day. The tablet can be easily divided into four parts, each of which can be used to treat 4 kg live weight. DROPS (for cats, small and medium-sized dogs): 8 drops / kg live weight / day. One drop of suspension contains 3.75 mg of active substance. The drug can be administered to puppies even in the first weeks of life, without any inconvenience. Shake very vigorously before use until the sediment is completely dispersed. Always round the weight of the animal to the next whole number. With the administration of the drug according to the modalities indicated, the total disappearance of the adult parasites is obtained; to eliminate the larval forms it is necessary to repeat the complete treatment after 60 days for roundworm infestations and after 18 days for those with hookworms from the end of the first treatment.

WARNINGS
In order to achieve effective parasite control, treatment should be carried out based on the results of the parasitological examination of the stool. It is not necessary to make the animal observe fasting during the treatment; it is a good idea, however, during deworming, and already from the previous day, to give the animal reduced and lighter meals than usual. It is preferable to administer the drug on an empty stomach. The elimination of parasites begins from the first administration; the disappearance of the eggs usually occurs within 10-15 days of the last administration. Therefore the examination of the stool for control must be carried out after the aforementioned period of time has elapsed. During the treatment and also subsequently, it is necessary to carry out, especially in kennels or farms, the appropriate disinfestation operations of the premises in order to avoid re-infestations. Furthermore, it is advisable to carry out the chemical denaturation of the feces expelled by the treated subjects, in order to destroy any live parasites emitted and thus interrupt the continuation of the parasitic cycle. Overdose: the administration of excessive doses does not cause any symptoms other than vomiting, over 500 mg / kg of active ingredient in dogs and 300 mg / kg of active ingredient in cats. Incompatibility: in the absence of compatibility studies, do not mix with other medicinal products.
