Bactigras MEDICATION WITH CHLOREXIDINE ACETATE

Indications:
for the treatment of wounds affecting no more than 10% of the body surface, such as:
- minor burns,
- burns from liquids and vapors,
- lacerations, abrasions and wounds with loss of substance,
- areas of sampling and skin grafting,
- ulcers of the lower limb.

How to use:
cleanse the wound using normal procedures. Choose the correct size and remove the dressing from the package (or discard the end of the roll). Using gloves and pliers, remove the protective paper. Place the dressing on the wound in a single layer, in direct contact with the wound surface.
Apply a secondary dressing if necessary and secure with a bandage or other adhesive dressing.
It can be left in place even if the absorbent secondary dressing is changed. The frequency of dressing changes depends on the clinical condition of the wound and varies from once a day to twice a week. To facilitate the removal of the dressing, if necessary, irrigate it with sterile saline.

Features:
sterile dressing consisting of a uniformly open weave cotton gauze impregnated with white vaseline containing 0.5% chlorhexidine acetate.

Warnings:
it must not be used in cases of known hypersensitivity or allergy to chlorhexidine.
