Milte Italia Prereid Food Supplement Powder 20 Sachets

Prereid Milte Oral rehydrating solution, indicated in the treatment of acute diarrhea. This event involves the loss of substantial quantities of water, sodium and other minerals.

Ingrediants
Dextrose (55.3%); maltodextrin (12.6%); sodium chloride; potassium citrate; aroma; sodium citrate; prebiotic fibers (2.8%) (xylo-oligosaccharides, fructo-oligosaccharides); sweetener: acesulfame K; zinc citrate; anti-caking agent: silicon dioxide.

How to use
In children with moderate dehydration, it is recommended to dissolve one sachet in 100 ml of solution for each kg of body weight within 4/6 hours; at the end of this rapid rehydration period, a clinical evaluation of the patient's hydration status will allow the doctor to choose the most appropriate maintenance dose. It is common for rather severe dehydration to be accompanied by episodes of vomiting. In these cases it is advisable to administer Prereid® in small quantities (one teaspoon at a time or small sips) at a short distance from each other at refrigerator temperature.

Warnings
In case of acute diarrhea, the use of rehydrating solutions such as carbonated drinks, tea, fruit juice, broth is not recommended.
