Dermatologically tested liquid cleanser at pH 4.5 for daily intimate hygiene based on amphoteric surfactants. It does not irritate and dry the skin.
Amphoteric surfactants: also called ampholytic, are ionic surfactants characterized by the presence of positive and negative charges in the hydrophilic part of the molecule, or have the characteristic of behaving as cationic or anionic depending on the pH of the solution. They are generally less irritating than anionic surfactants (better known as primary surfactants) and are widely used in cleaning systems also for their antibacterial power. Cocamido-propyl-betaine is an amphoteric substance obtained from coconut oil, non-irritating to skin and mucous membranes, in which the starch group which confers viscosifying and gelling power, the quaternary ammonium group with positive charge, which gives properties antibacterial, and the carboxylic group which attributes to the molecule foaming detergent power. Cocamidopropylamine oxide is an amphoteric surfactant belonging to the aminoxides. The classification of the latter is controversial as they are actually non-ionic surfactants. They have a behavior similar to betaines: they are excellent foaming agents and improve the quality of the foam and have viscosifying properties.
Sage: it is shown in the bibliography that the extracts of Salvia officinalis for topical use have a soothing action on the skin and mucous membranes. Dermatologically tested.
How to use
Dilute 1-2 small splashes of product in water (about 1 ½ liter), gently cleanse several times and rinse.
