Vaginal capsules based on Lactobacillus plantarum,
Ecocillin Capsule is used in the treatment of vaginitis and vulvo-vaginitis in general. In particular in vaginitis associated with ovarian insufficiency, hypofollicolinic leukorrhea, infantile vaginitis, senile vaginitis, vulvar itching, vaginal dystrophy. Ecocillin is also used as an adjuvant in the chemotherapy and antibiotic treatment in Trichomonas vaginitis.
The drug is taken according to the following doses and methods: one vaginal capsule a day.
Introduce a capsule deeply into the vagina, in the supine position, in the evening before bedtime.
No cases of overdose have been reported.
Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.
No undesirable effects related to the use of the product have been reported.
Lactobacillus plantarum is a habitual non-pathogenic host of the vagina, therefore Ecocillin can be used during pregnancy and / or breastfeeding.
The use, especially if prolonged, of products for topical use can give rise to sensitization phenomena and produce undesirable effects. In this case it is necessary to stop the treatment. Ecocillin does not replace antibiotic or chemotherapy therapy, but represents a useful complement by restoring, especially at the end of the specific treatment, the physiological conditions of the vaginal environment.
