Kelo Cote SCAR GEL

Silicon based gel, light and easy to dry for the treatment of scars.
Treatment for hypertrophic and keloid scars, recent or not, resulting from surgery, trauma, wounds and burns. Kelo-cote® is suitable for use on children and people with sensitive skin.
It dries quickly forming a gas permeable, flexible and impermeable to water film. It adheres to the stratum corneum (the most superficial layer of the skin) forming a protective barrier that prevents the aggression of external agents (chemical, physical and microbial) and guarantees its hydration. Consequently, a favorable environment is created that allows to maintain an adequate level of humidity and oxygenation that supports the normal cycles of collagen synthesis and improves the physiological and cosmetic appearance of the scar itself. It is able to reduce, soften and smooth out scars, relieve redness and itching sensation as well as reduce the color changes associated with scars.
How to use
- Check that the affected area is clean and dry.
- Apply a thin layer of Kelo-cote® on the affected area and let it dry.
- Apply Kelo-cote® twice a day.
- For best results, Kelo-cote® Gel must remain in contact with the skin for 24 hours.
- Once dry, Kelo-cote® can be combined with compression garments, sunscreen products for total protection or cosmetics.
If Kelo-cote® has not dried within 4 - 5 minutes, it means that it has been applied too much. Remove excess product and let it dry.
The minimum recommended duration of treatment is 60 - 90 days. Long-standing and large scars may require prolonged treatment. Continued use of the product is recommended if improvement is visible even after the first 90 days of treatment.
Drying
The drying process of Kelo-cote® is favored by the temperature difference between the gel and the skin. To reduce drying times in hot climates, store Kelo-cote® in the refrigerator. In cold climates, use a hair dryer on low speed to reduce drying times.

Polysiloxanes; silicon dioxide.
Warnings
Avoid direct contact with eyes, mucous membranes, third degree burns and open wounds.
Do not use Kelocote in the presence of dermatological diseases that alter the integrity of the skin.
It can stain clothing if not completely dry.
For external use only.
If irritation occurs, discontinue use of the product and consult your doctor.
