PHARMACOTHERAPEUTIC CATEGORY
Antiseptics of the oropharyngeal cavity.

ACTIVE PRINCIPLES
2,4 dichlorobenzyl alcohol; ascorbic acid.

EXCIPIENTS
Mannitol, polyvinylpyrrolidone K 30, copolyvidone, orange flavor, glyceryl behenate, aspartame.

INDICATIONS
Antiseptic of the oropharyngeal cavity.

CONTRAINDICATIONS / SECONDARY EFFECT
Hypersensitivity to the active ingredients or to any of the excipients; due to the presence of aspartame, the product is contraindicated in cases of phenylketonuria.

DOSAGE
Slowly dissolve one tablet in your mouth every 2-3 hours, up to a maximum of 8 tablets per day. Do not exceed the recommended dose.

STORAGE
Store at a temperature not exceeding 30 degrees C.

WARNINGS
Sugar-free tablets contain vitamin C, therefore they must be used with caution by people who suffer, or have suffered in the past, from nephrolithiasis (kidney stones) and by those with G6PD (Glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase) deficiency, hemochromatosis, thalassemia or sideroblastic anemia. The product does not contain sucrose, can therefore be taken by those who must avoid the administration of this sugar. The use, especially if prolonged, of products for topical oral use can give rise to sensitization phenomena. In this case it is necessary to interrupt the treatment and institute any suitable therapy.

INTERACTIONS
Avoid the simultaneous use of other antiseptics.

SIDE EFFECTS
Very rarely have been reported: hypersensitivity reactions, spinning sensation, respiratory failure, glottal edema, vomiting, malaise, sweating, arm edema, perioral edema, eyelid edema, face edema, urticaria, haemolytic anemia, jaundice .

PREGNANCY AND BREASTFEEDING
There are no adequate data from the use of 2,4-dichlorobenzyl alcohol and ascorbic acid in pregnant women. In pregnant and lactating women, the product should be administered in case of real need.
