Recommendations for use

The recommended daily dose is 2 sachets of Abound per day, unless otherwise indicated by the doctor according to the specific needs of each patient.

• For oral use: dilute the contents of one sachet in 250 ml of water.
• For probe: pour the contents of a bag of Abound into a suitable container and dilute with 125 ml of water; mix well until completely dissolved.

Make sure the probe is positioned correctly. Wash the probe with 30 ml of water before administering the Abound solution. Administer the Abound solution with a 60 ml or larger syringe. After administering the Abound solution wash again with 30 ml of water (use less water if the patient is to be fed a low-liquid diet) If you plan to consume the solution within 4 hours of preparation, keep it at room temperature environment. If not used immediately, it can be stored in the refrigerator and must be used within 24 hours.
