Bioxtra Oral Gel Dry Mouth Replacement of Saliva 40 ml

Bioxtra is a gel and spray for oral use composed of special polymers capable of giving lubricating, humidifying and protective properties that can replace human saliva. It is indicated in the treatment of dry mouth, xerostomia and all forms of salivary hypersecretion where there is a glandular inability to produce salivation.

Thanks to its formulation, Bioxtra Oral Gel has remarkable humectifying properties capable of replacing saliva, it is indicated in the treatment of dry mouth, xerostomia and in all those cases of inability to produce salivation as in the case of autoimmune diseases, in case of oncological radiotherapy, chemotherapy or drug therapy with psychotropic drugs.

How does Bioxtra Oral Gel work?

Bioxtra Oral Gel that exploits the action of numerous components capable of humidifying dry mouth:

• In case of autoimmune diseases;
• In case of the inability of the glands to recover function due to oncological radiotherapy, chemotherapy or drug therapy with psychotropic drugs.

How to use

In case of:

• mild to medium xerostomia : apply a small amount (0.5 / 1 cm) with a finger or cotton swab along the gum line, distributing evenly at least 3 times a day.
• xerostomia of high intensity apply a quantity corresponding to 1-3 cm directly on the tongue and distribute evenly throughout the oral cavity at least 4 times a day or as needed with particular care in the evening application.

Warnings and Contraindications

Close the tube or bottle after use and place them away from heat sources.
Do not use BioXtra in combination with toothpastes containing detergent bases, foaming surfactants.
Keep at room temperature.
