If it is necessary to take an axillary measurement, take these precautions to allow the axillary temperature to stabilize:
• make sure the armpit is dry;
• place the tip of the switched off thermometer and tighten the arm against the body remaining in this position for about 60 seconds before taking the measurement;
• proceed with the measurement as indicated in the paragraph “How to use” in the instruction manual.
