ACTIVE PRINCIPLES
Ubidecarenone.

EXCIPIENTS
Hard capsules: lactose, colloidal silica, sodium laurilsulfate, magnesium stearate. Composition of the capsule: gelatin containing titanium dioxide (e171), erythrosine (e127) and iron oxide (e 172). Single-dose vials: 70% sorbitol (not crystallizable), hydrogenated castor oil, polyoxyethylenate 40, sodium benzoate, succinic acid, orange flavoring, ammonium glycyrrhizinate, sodium edetate, sodium dehydroacetate, sodium saccharin, purified water.

INDICATIONS
Congenital deficiencies of coenzyme Q10.

CONTRAINDICATIONS / SECONDARY EFFECT
Individual hypersensitivity already ascertained towards the preparation.

DOSAGE
Hard capsules, single-dose vials: 1 capsule or 1 vial of solution for oral use per day.

STORAGE
Store at room temperature and protected from light.

SIDE EFFECTS
The drug is generally well tolerated. Gastric disturbances, decreased appetite, nausea, diarrhea, skin rashes have sometimes been reported during treatment. In the event of secondary reactions occurring, treatment must be discontinued.

PREGNANCY AND BREASTFEEDING
Even if the teratological studies conducted with Ubidecarenone on animals did not show any teratogenic effect, however, as for other drugs, its administration during the first three months of pregnancy should be carried out only in case of real need and under the direct control of the doctor.
