PHARMACOTHERAPEUTIC CATEGORY

ACTIVE PRINCIPLES
Diclofenac acid (2 - [(2,6-dichlorophenyl) amino] benzenacetic acid) 0.074 g (Mouthwash) and 0.3 mg (Spray).

EXCIPIENTS
Mouthwash: sorbitol, choline, sodium benzoate, sodium edetate, acesulfame potassium, natural mint flavoring, natural peach flavoring, E 124, purified water. Spray: sorbitol, choline chloride, sodium edetate, sodium benzoate, acesulfame potassium, mint essential oil, natural peach flavoring, E 124, ethanol, sodium hydroxide, purified water.

INDICATIONS
Symptomatic treatment of irritative-inflammatory states also associated with oropharyngeal pain (eg gingivitis, stomatitis, pharyngitis), also as a consequence of conservative or extractive dental therapy.

CONTRAINDICATIONS / SECONDARY EFFECT
Hypersensitivity to the components of the product or substances closely related from a chemical point of view to acetylsalicylic acid or to other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs

DOSAGE
Mouthwash: 2-3 rinses or gargles a day with 15 ml (1 scoop or 1 sachet) of pure mouthwash or diluted in a little water. Spray: 2 sprays three times a day addressed directly to the affected area. Each spray delivers 0.2 ml of solution equivalent to 0.3 mg of active ingredient.

STORAGE
Do not store above 25 degrees C.

WARNINGS
Any involuntary swallowing of the dose of mouthwash used for rinsing and gargling does not cause any harm to the patient as it is equivalent to one fifth / sixth of the dose prescribed by the systemic dosage. The use, especially if prolonged, of topical preparations can give rise to sensitization phenomena, in which case it is necessary to interrupt the treatment and institute, if necessary, suitable therapy.

INTERACTIONS
There were no negative interactions with other drugs commonly used in the relevant therapy.

SIDE EFFECTS
It is generally well tolerated and unwanted effects rarely occur. Clinical studies conducted with mouthwash have shown, especially for prolonged treatments, the appearance of irritation phenomena of the oral mucosa, generally of a mild entity. Cough. In clinical trials with the oral mucosal spray, mild (nausea, hypotension, chills, visual changes and dyspepsia) or moderate (headache and mucous membrane changes) side effects were observed only in a small number of patients treated.

PREGNANCY AND BREASTFEEDING
In pregnant and lactating women, the product should be used in cases of real need.
