L-Phenylalanine is an essential amino acid. Essential amino acids must necessarily be introduced with the diet because they are not synthesized by the body. This amino acid is present in the proteins of meat, fish and dairy products. L-Phenylalanine in the body participates in the synthesis of Thyroxine (a thyroid hormone) and is also involved in the synthesis of catecholamines, neurotransmitters involved in the regulation of mood. L-Phenylalanine is also a precursor of melanin, the pigment that gives color to the skin and protects it from the harmful action of free radicals.

Warnings
Do not exceed the recommended dose. Keep out of the reach of children under 3 years of age. Supplements are not intended as a substitute for a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
Contraindications
Contains a source of L-Phenylalanine, not recommended for people with phenylketonuria. Do not use in the evening before going to bed because L-Phenylalanine can cause an exciting effect.
