PHARMACOTHERAPEUTIC CATEGORY
It is an antiseptic and disinfectant (quaternary ammonium derivative).
INDICATIONS
It is used for the disinfection and cleaning (or toilet) of injured skin (wounds, sores, burns) and external genitals.
CONTRAINDICATIONS / SECONDARY EFFECT
In case of hypersensitivity to the components or other strictly correlated substances from a chemical point of view. Avoid the simultaneous use of other antiseptics and detergents (such as normal soaps).
DOSAGE
Disinfection of wounds and injured skin: use a quantity of solution or nebulisations in relation to the skin surface to be treated 2 - 3 times a day. Disinfection of the external genitalia: 1 spoonful of solution in 1 liter of water or 7-10 sprays directly on the affected part 2 - 3 times a day.
INTERACTIONS
It is incompatible with anionic detergents, soaps, citrates, iodides, nitrates, permanganates, tartrates, salicylates and silver salts. Avoid the simultaneous use of other antiseptics and detergents. If you are using other medicines ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice.
SIDE EFFECTS
It is possible in some cases the onset of burning or irritation without consequences, which do not require modification of the treatment.
