Crataegus oxyacantha
Hawthorn has a recognized sedative and muscle relaxant activity which makes it particularly suitable for states of stress and anxiety. It has been shown that oral administration has calming effects on the CNS, resulting particularly indicated in sleep disorders and in situations characterized by excessive emotionality and anxiety, in stress and in menopause. It has also been ascertained that the plant helps to eliminate the emotional component of certain hypertensive states. The studies carried out show an important activity on the cardiovascular system with a real improvement in resistance to effort. The phytocomplex carries out its action on b-adrenergic receptors (as partial agonist) and by inhibiting phosphodiesterase, which is followed by an increase in the intracellular rate of cyclic AMP, in turn linked to an increase in free calcium ions; these effects are certainly linked to the presence of oligomeric procyanidins and flavonoids such as vitexin. The main actions on the cardiovascular system are as follows: increase in the contraction force of the heart muscle, antiarrhythmic effect, increase in coronary flow, peripheral vasodilation.
Hieracium pilosella
The plant is used in the treatment of water retention and overweight, manifesting a marked diuretic activity. This activity is associated with an anti-uric and antiseptic action, favoring the reparative processes of the bladder mucosa. The plant is also indicated in the treatment of recurrent cystitis thanks to umbelliferone with antibiotic activity. It also has a choleretic and cholagogue action that supports and promotes the antitoxic activity of the liver.
Equisetum arvense
It is especially known for its remineralizing action, thanks to its high silica content. This mineral would have a leading role in facilitating the calcification of bones, especially in the early stages of their formation. It has also been seen that animals fed a particularly low-silicon diet show less callus formation after a fracture, and their bone has a lower density than animals receiving normal amounts of silicon in the diet. Horsetail has a diuretic action: it was useful in edema, in forced diuresis in case of bacterial and inflammatory diseases in the urinary tract and against gravel. Drug-induced diuresis is purely water, without altering the electrolyte content. The plant is widely used in cosmetology for the prevention of wrinkles, skin aging, cellulite. Given the remineralizing action it is used in case of brittle nails and hair.
Smilax medical
Antibiotic, anti-inflammatory and hepatoprotective properties have been documented. It is also used to treat enuresis and menopausal symptoms and is used as a depurative for its diuretic and diaphoretic properties. The plant contains trace elements, minerals, sugars, saponins and steroids. Most of its pharmacological activity comes from saponins and steroids and they represent the starting source for the production in the laboratory of human steroids such as estrogen and testosterone.
Solidago virga-aurea
Solidago owes the important anti-inflammatory and vitaminoP-like action that characterizes it to the presence of flavonoids and triterpene saponins. The components of the solidago tops have a diuretic and anti-uric effect of considerable importance; at the same time the drug also exerts a notable anti-inflammatory and vasoprotective action. It is used in folk medicine to stimulate diuresis and to promote the expulsion of stones. In phytotherapy it is used to treat acute kidney diseases and rheumatic disorders with an edematous component. Goldenrod inhibits the growth of candida albicans.
Spiraea ulmaria
The main constituents are: flavonoids (spireaoside) and monotropitoside, a salicylic heteroside, which by hydrolysis frees methyl salicylate. It manifests an azide and dechlorinating diuretic action, antirheumatic, uricosuric, sudoriferous and febrifuge. It is attributed a positive action against diseases such as: profuse hyperhidrosis, muscle and joint rheumatism, epicondylitis. It has an important diuretic and anti-cellulite action. Numerous authors confirm its efficacy in the treatment of edema of the lower limbs, ascites and joint effusions.

How to use
Take 10 drops 3 times a day.
