ACTIVE PRINCIPLES
1 ml of suspension contains: Pirantel Embonate 14.40 mg, Febantel 15.00 mg.
EXCIPIENTS
Sodium propionate, Sodium benzoate, Sodium phosphate (monosodium) dihydrate, Sorbitan monooleate, Polyvinylpyrrolidone, Polysorbate 80, Sodium dioctyl sulphosuccinate, Bentonite, Anhydrous citric acid, Cochineal red, Xanthan gum, Propylene glycol, Purified water.
INDICATIONS
Anthelmintic for use in puppies and young dogs. For the treatment of infestations caused by the following nematelminti. Ascarids: Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina hookworms, Uncinaria stenocephala, Ancylostoma caninum whipworms, Trichuris vulpis. Due to the early onset of roundworm infestations (intrauterine and galactogenic infestation) the treatment should start already at the age of about 2 weeks. It is advisable to repeat the treatment at intervals of 14 days.
CONTRAINDICATIONS / SECONDARY EFFECT
None known.
USE / ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION
Oral.
DOSAGE
15 mg of Febantel and 14.4 mg of Pyrantelembonate per kg of body weight, corresponding to 1 ml of suspension per 1 kg of body weight by mouth. The suspension can be administered directly with the enclosed syringe dispenser or indirectly by mixing it with the food. No dietary measures are necessary. Shake before use. Duration of use: the application is single for each deworming.
STORAGE
Shelf life after first opening the immediate packaging: 12 weeks.
WARNINGS
Treatment should be based on the results of the parasitological examination of the stool. Pest resistance to any particular class of anthelmintics may develop after frequent and repeated use of an anthelmintic of that class. Special precautions for the person administering the product to animals: none. Overdose: An overdose of 5 times the therapeutic dose was tolerated by puppies and young dogs without symptoms. For a 10-fold overdose, vomiting should be expected as the only symptom. Incompatibility: in the absence of compatibility studies, do not mix with other veterinary medicinal products.
