The action of the various remedies is directed on the venous system, the liver, the anal mucosa and the perianal skin tissues.

The symptoms of the individual remedies are as follows:

Acidum nitricum: intestinal pains, excruciating pains, feeling of strangulation during defecations with persistent pain.

Aesculus: organotropic effect on the venous system, dryness and burning sensation of the mucous membranes, external hemorrhoids, lumbo-sacral pain.

Collinsonia canadensis: venous-pelvic stasis, constipation alvo, meteorism, haemorrhoidal bleeding.

Graphites: constipated alvus, lumpy and viscous stools, anal fissures and anal eczema that accompanies anal itching.

Hamamelis: very painful phlebitic processes with hemorrhagic diathesis.

Kalium carbonicum: low back pain, meteorism, hard stools, haemorrhoidal gavoccioli that cause burning pains.
