The remedies contained in the preparation act on the prostate and exert a strong activity on the related pathological phenomena. The symptoms of the individual remedies are as follows:
Chimaphila umbellata: perineal pain sensation, urine retention, thick, cloudy urine with traces of blood. Clematis recta, vitalba: intermittent urination, stricture of the urethra in the initial state. Relapsing gonorrheal infections. Conium: slowing of urinary flow, muscle weakness as in paralysis.
Ferrum picrinicum: nocturia. Urinary incontinence, continuous urge to urinate (pollakiuria).
Pareira brava: thick and cloudy urine, blood, pains along the urethra that radiate to the thighs.
Populus tremuloides: acts selectively on the urinary tract. Sensation of itching when urinating, retention of urine. Pulsatilla: pollakiuria; urinary incontinence.
Sabal serrulatum: dysuria, continuous urge to urinate especially at night.
