How does DulcoSoft Oral Solution work?

The main component of the DulcoSoft product is macrogol 4000, an osmotic laxative with a high capacity to retain water. It acts as a transporter of water and delays intestinal absorption, resulting in an increase in the quantity of the colon. Softens and hard stools and increases their volume. This leads to accelerating intestinal transit and making evacuation easier, giving a natural feeling of relief. Macrogol 4000 has a purely physical mechanism of action, carrying out its action in a delicate way: it is not absorbed by the body, it does not irritate the mucosa and is eliminated in an unmodified form.

Method of use and dosage

Take DulcoSoft Oral Solution following these instructions:

• adults and children from 8 years: 20 - 40 ml per day
• children 4-7 years: 16 - 32 ml per day
• children 2-3 years: 8 - 16 ml per day

The recommended daily dose should preferably be taken as a single dose in the morning added to your favorite beverage.

Warnings and contraindications

Do not take for extended periods of time without investigating the causes of constipation.
If you experience symptoms such as hives, rash, hypersensitivity, anaphylactic shock, angioderma, stop taking and contact your doctor immediately.
It can be taken during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
It should not be taken in children under two years of age. Always hear your doctor's opinion first.
It is suitable for diabetics.
