Emorjal is a rectal cream consisting of high molecular weight hyaluronic acid, indicated in haemorrhoidal pathology both before and after surgical treatment.
It is a product with a mainly protective action on the rectal mucosa, made in compliance with Directive 93/42 / EEC MDD. Hyaluronic acid, a polysaccharide present in the connective tissue, is arranged in the space in an aggregate conformation, thus taking in a considerable number of water molecules and maintaining the right degree of hydration and viscosity.
The device is able to act as a cementing substance and as an anti-shock molecule as well as an efficient lubricant, preventing damage to tissue cells from physical and inflammatory stresses such as those that occur in acute haemorrhoidal crises and in post-operative anal surgery. .
Finally, it is the supporting structure on which the collagen fibers, fundamental in tissue repair processes, are built by the fibroblastic migration.
The haemorrhoidal pathology, in fact, has a multifactorial genesis, which involves, in addition to the venous plexuses, also the support structures, (Parks ligament) substantially constituted by collagen and hyaluronic acid which, through the use of Emorjal, is intended to be reintegrated.
Emorjal is indicated in all those situations, in which the restoration of an optimal environment favoring the healing processes is required.

How to use
The cream should be applied both locally, on the lesions, and inside the anal canal, with the help of a disposable glove, for about 1 cm inside the anus; in particular, after haemorrhoidal surgery or in all anal and haemorrhoidal inflammatory states, especially those that involve a continuous solution of the cutaneous-mucosal integrity of the anal region. Before applying it is recommended to thoroughly cleanse the region with an antiseptic solution.
Application is recommended:
after each evacuation, after washing;
two or more times a day in case of previous haemorrhoidal surgery;
three times a day in case of acute hemorrhoidal crisis;
a small veil of cream can be used in case of inflammation and itching of the perianal tissues.

Components
Purified water, sodium hyaluronate, cetylstearyl octanoate, copolymer of acrylic acid and vinyl ester, cetyl stearyl alcohol, potassium cetyl phosphate, imidazolidinyl urea, phenoxyethanol-paraben, sodium hydroxide.
