Iron
In the form of pyrophosphate it is highly bioavailable for the body and digestible: it does not cause irritation, a sense of heaviness and does not leave unpleasant aftertaste because it passes through the small intestine where it is slowly absorbed. Iron is an essential constituent of hemoglobin and myoglobin and is therefore essential for transporting oxygen to cells. Its supplementation is useful in women of childbearing age, in pregnancy, in post-partum as well as in all cases of dietary deficiencies of this nutrient.
C vitamin
Promotes intestinal absorption of iron by virtue of the reducing power of ascorbic acid which prevents the formation of poorly absorbable ferric salt. Furthermore, vitamin C accelerates the formation of hemoglobin, improves the transfer of iron from plasma transferrin to tissue ferritin and increases intracellular availability by promoting ferroferritin binding.
Vitamin B2 and B6
They participate in the synthesis of proteins, brain neurotransmitters, prostaglandins and the maturation of red blood cells. They support the immune system.
Vitamin B12 and folic acid
They collaborate in the synthesis of DNA, in the maturation of red blood cells, deficient in anemic forms and in the formation of the nerve fiber sheath. Vitamin B12 serves to regenerate folic acid in its active form. During pregnancy, folic acid supplementation is useful to prevent neural tube defects and to reduce the risk of other pregnancy complications (growth retardation and pre-eclampsia).
Copper
Contributes to proper immune function.
Zinc
Mineral necessary to maintain proper immune and antioxidant function. The pidolate form guarantees high bioavailability and tolerability.

How to use
It is recommended to take 1 capsule a day, before the main meal.
During pregnancy it is recommended to take 2 capsules a day.

There are no known side effects related to the use of the product; avoid in case of ascertained hypersensitivity to one or more components of the product.
