esofluxil product CE 0398, based on sodium alginate, sodium bicarbonate and mucosave plus. product with mechanical action indicated in the treatment of gastric reflux in order to reduce the symptoms associated with it, such as: reflux esophagitis, acid regurgitation, heartburn and gastric heartburn in pregnancy. esofluxil can be used during continued treatment with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs as a primary prophylaxis of NSAID-induced gastropathy.
Sodium alginate associated with sodium bicarbonate prevents the reflux of gastric contents into the esophagus through a physical mechanism of action. Upon contact with gastric acid, alginate changes its physical state, becoming a gel, while bicarbonate releases molecules of carbon dioxide. The latter remains trapped in the gel and gives it a consistency such that it can float on the gastric contents, thus hindering the return of acid and food to the esophageal tract and protecting the mucosa from the corrosive action of any reflux episodes. Mucosave plus has also been included in the esofluxil formulation, which has a strong mucoadhesive action.

Ingrediants
Sodium alginate; sodium bicarbonate; mucosave plus [caper extract (Capparis spinosa), olive leaf extract (Olea europea), prickly pear extract (Opuntia ficus indica), chitosan (from plants) and maltodextrin].

How to use
Pour the contents of an envelope into a glass. Fill half the glass with water (non-carbonated), stir vigorously to evenly disperse the powder, then drink. We recommend taking one sachet a day. The mechanism of action of esofluxil is physical / mechanical and does not depend on systemic absorption.
