How does pH5 Moisturizing Body Emulsion sensitive skin work?

The Eucerin pH5 Moisturizing Body Lotion activates the enzymes normally contained in the skin which have the function of regulating the hydrolipidic balance and stimulate its renewal. If these enzymatic activities are reduced, which is very common in sensitive skin, the skin becomes more vulnerable and prone to irritation and roughness. It is precisely the combination of active ingredients that contain the pH5 Enzyme Protection formula (Dexpanthenol, pH5 Citrate Buffer and Glycerin) that activates the enzymes of the skin to strengthen its barrier function, and therefore protect it daily from irritants and pollutants of the environment. In particular:

• Dexpanthenol , which derives from pantothenic acid (also known as Vitamin B5), is an extremely effective moisturizer, which improves the hydration of the outermost layer of the skin, to help reduce transepidermal water loss and maintain softness and l elasticity of the skin;
