EUKOM 1000 Food supplement based on cytidine-5-diphosphocholine sodium salt, polyphenols and vitamins A, E, C and B6.
It helps to support and protect the metabolism of the nerve structures involved in visual processes. It also helps to improve visual function in conditions of visual fatigue and ocular stress conditions in general.
Choline
It is a molecule present in the body. It is physiologically used as a precursor in the endogenous synthesis of 5-diphosphocholine which in turn constitutes the precursor of the phospholipids of the nerve cell membrane, as well as participating in the maturation processes of visual functions. Choline is also used by nerve cells for the synthesis of acetylcholine, which is essential for the propagation of visual signals. In fact, it has been shown that, in the case of impaired visual functions, the specific and prolonged introduction of choline brings about an improvement in the transmission of electrical impulses from the retina to the brain in a dose-dependent manner. Its exogenous contribution appears useful both for the structural integrity of the neuronal membranes and for the functionality of the nerve cells.
Anthocyanins
The anthocyanins extracted from the black currant plant have antioxidant activities, help improve night and peripheral vision, microcirculation and ocular tone.
Vitamin E and Vitamin C
They are antioxidants available to the body, necessary to safeguard the integrity of tissues and membranes and physiological functional reactions.
Vitamin A is involved in the function of the retina responsible for receiving light and transforming the light pulse into an electrical signal at the level of the photoreceptors.
Vitamin B6
It contributes to improving the bioavailability and utilization of choline for the synthesis of phospholipids.

How to use
