Propolis
Propolis extract is widely used in traditional medicine for its activity in the prevention and symptomatic treatment of inflammation of the oral cavity. Some studies (1, 2) show that Propolis has the following important biological activities:
• Antibacterial action: Propolis is one of the most effective natural antibacterials, whose bacteriostatic and bactericidal activities, demonstrated on Staphylococcus, Streptococcus and Klebsiella, may depend on its content in flavonoids and organic acids.
• Antiviral activity: some studies indicate that Propolis has an activity on different strains of viruses, including those of the flu and herpes. This effect can be explained by the ability of Propolis to prevent viruses from attaching to target cells and from penetrating them and infecting them.
• Anti-inflammatory action: the anti-inflammatory properties of Propolis are mainly due to its ability to inhibit the action of leukotrienes, substances capable of promoting inflammation and consequently has a calming effect on local pain.

• Antibacterial action: the antibacterial action of the Orocyan extract is due to the presence of proanthocyanidins which have the property of blocking bacterial adhesion to the host cell, preventing its entry and proliferation.
Acerola (Malpighia puncifolia L.)
Natural source rich in vitamin C and other compounds including bioflavonoids, natural pigments with high antioxidant activity, which make the absorption of vitamin C faster and more complete.
