Therapeutic indications
Ginetantum Vaginal Solution is used in the treatment of:

Vulvovaginitis and cervicovaginitis of any origin and nature, including chemo and radiotherapy.
Gardnerella vaginalis bacterial vaginosis.
Pre and post-operative prophylaxis in gynecological surgery.
Intimate hygiene during the puerperium

Dosage and method of use
Ginetantum Vaginal Solution is used in the following ways: 1-2 vaginal irrigations per day, according to the doctor's opinion.
In the treatment of bacterial vaginosis caused by Gardnerella vaginalis, the recommended dosage, unless otherwise advised by the doctor, is 2 vaginal irrigations per day for seven consecutive days.

Contraindications

It must not be used in subjects who have demonstrated hypersensitivity to the components of the product or closely related substances from the chemical point of view.

Special warnings
The use, especially if prolonged, of topical products could give rise to sensitization phenomena, in which case it is necessary to suspend the treatment and adopt suitable therapeutic measures.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding
There are no contraindications to the topical use of benzydamine during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
