Food supplement based on plant extracts of white mulberry and green coffee and chromium picolinate, useful for fighting overweight, maintaining a healthy weight, reshaping the figure. It keeps blood sugar low, activates the metabolism, controls the sense of hunger, protects lean mass.
The postprandial glycemic peak plays a decisive role in the formation of adipose accumulations: if after a meal the increase in blood sugar is moderate, there is a secretion of insulin that allows a gradual return to normal values, and the body has time to use the sugars introduced. If, on the other hand, the increase in blood glucose reaches very high values, there is a proportionately high insulin response; excess glucose in the blood is dangerous for the body and therefore, due to the action of insulin, it is rapidly stored in the liver and adipose tissue in the form of fat. Furthermore, insulin, by signaling the presence of an excessive quantity of circulating energy resources, inhibits its mobilization from the reserves present both in the liver and in the adipose tissue.
In the normal process of insulin and hunger cycle, blood sugar gradually rises, little insulin is released with physiological restoration of levels; the brain is well fed for many hours and requires no more food. Chlorogenic acid is one of the most important polyphenolic compounds contained in green coffee, which is however lost during the roasting of the beans and therefore in the coffee to be consumed as a drink. Chlorogenic acid is found mainly in seeds but also in leaves and fruits, it intervenes in the regulation of glucose levels in the blood, is able to reduce hepatic glycogenolysis (the transformation of glycogen to glucose in the liver) and circulating glucose. There is therefore a lowering of the blood glucose level in the blood and an increase in hepatic concentrations of glucose-6-phosphatase and glycogen.

Chromium is an essential mineral, available in several variations, most commonly as picolinate or polynicotinate. Chromium picolinate is the most bioavailable form. Chromium is essential for normal growth and for the health and well-being of the organism. It promotes a correct use of sugars and is necessary for the breakdown of carbohydrates, fats and proteins. A chromium supplement may be suitable for people who do not get enough chromium from their diet.

In traditional Chinese and Japanese medicine, the leaves of the white mulberry are used to maintain blood sugars (glycaemia) at physiological levels. Among the active components of the plant, deoxinojirimycin (DNJ) stands out, able to reduce the activity of maltase in the intestine. By decreasing the action of these digestive enzymes, the transformation of carbohydrates into glucose is slowed down: by reducing the value of postprandial glycemic peaks (hypoglycemic activity), the extract of the leaves of White Mulberry exerts a rebalancing of insulin secretion, with the consequent benefit of stabilization body weight and hunger control.

How to use: we recommend taking 1 tablet 3 times a day, half an hour before each main meal.

Warnings: phytotherapy can be used to counteract altered blood glucose values only if the alteration is mild and does not require drug therapy. In case of therapy in progress, DO NOT interrupt it without the authorization of the doctor, to avoid possible damage, even serious.
Due to the lack of dedicated scientific studies, use during pregnancy and breastfeeding is not recommended.
