Indications

Lavonase is a product, disposable and sterile, patented for the irrigation of the nasal cavities and the nasopharynx. In particular, the product consists of: a sterile disposable outflow system which includes a tube, 60 cm long, connected on one side to a perforator and on the other side to an irrigation nozzle; a bag, containing physiological solution, 0.9% NaCl, sterile, equipped with a valve for the possible insertion of drugs (on medical advice) and with a second valve in which the perforator of the outflow system is inserted; a clamp to close the tube while piercing the valve of the bag with the perforator; a suction cup to hang the bag. The nozzle is inserted into the nasal vestibule up to the nasal valve area, causing its dilation and thus allowing a better propagation of the solution inside the nasal cavity: the solution spreads like a fan inside the nasal cavity. The head must remain tilted forward throughout the nasal irrigation phase; the physiological solution contained in the bag must be heated to 35/40 ° C before use.
