Lithos Plus Food Supplement 60 Tablets

Description
Food supplement based on potassium and magnesium citrate.
It is of particular help in subjects subjected to an intense loss of fluids, such as strong sweating, diuresis or diarrhea, or in patients receiving drugs such as diuretics, laxatives or cortisones, also contributing to the regular acid-base balance.

How to use
We recommend taking two tablets a day, unless otherwise indicated by the doctor.
LITHOS PLUS is to be taken preferably on a full stomach, taking the tablet with a little water.
For different indications (prevention of kidney stones) follow the medical prescription.

Warnings
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Keep out of the reach of children under 3 years of age.
Supplements are not intended as a substitute for a varied diet.
LITHOS PLUS is contraindicated in patients suffering from hyperkalaemia or hypermagnesemia, or from conditions that may predispose to the appearance of such plasma alterations. These conditions include chronic renal failure, uncontrolled diabetes mellitus.
The simultaneous intake of LITHOS PLUS and potassium-sparing drugs (triamterene, spironolactone, amiloride) could cause hyperkalaemia. It is therefore advisable to monitor the progress of kalaemia.
There are no known interactions with other drugs.
Rarely, mild gastrointestinal disturbances such as abdominal heaviness, nausea and occasionally diarrhea may develop during treatment. The tablet pack may be particularly suitable for these subjects.
