Wrist-thumb orthosis

Features:
Relative immobilization in functional position of the wrist and thumb by means of rigid splints, maintaining the mobility of the other fingers and the grip of the hand. Possibility of adapting the orthosis thanks to the shaping of the splints.

How to use
Keep the orthosis extended and open with the foam side facing up. Place the hand on the orthosis so that the palmar splint is aligned with the forearm and its folded end reaches the center of the palm and hand. Moderately tighten the two straps located on the dorsal part of the forearm and wrist. Pull the flap with the hook and loop closure around your thumb so that it passes between the thumb and index finger from the dorsal to the palmar side. Then secure the tab with the hook and loop closure on the palmar side of the forearm at the central splint. Check that the central splint is well aligned with the forearm and then adjust the straps to obtain a stable but comfortable restraint.

Components
Exterior: 29% rubber fiber, 71% polyester.
Lining: 80% cotton, 20% polyamide.

Warnings
Hand wash in water at 30 ° C with neutral soap or detergent.
Rinse thoroughly.
Do not wring out, but remove the water by compressing the garment inside a terry towel.
Allow to dry horizontally.
Do not iron.
