Nucleotides

Food supplement based on Nucleotides and Vitamin C, useful for filling food shortages or the increased organic needs of these ingredients.
Gluten and lactose free.
C vitamin
It contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress and to the normal formation of collagen, for the normal function of cartilages.
Nucleotides
Nucleotides play a fundamental role in different conditions and physiological phases of the organism. The cell's need for nucleotides is not always covered by ex novo synthesis. Furthermore, many specialized cells are not equipped with the enzymatic kit necessary for ex novo synthesis and must therefore capture the nucleotides in circulation. Numerous researches are continuously conducted on nucleotides and the potential benefits they bring. The following is what emerged from some studies.
Diabetes: Adenosine and ATP nucleotide affect insulin secretion and β-cell proliferation. During the compensatory phase of obesity, β cells proliferate, uptake glucose and activate its metabolism, generating ATP. ATP triggers a chain of reactions that induces the proliferation of β-cells. ATP, via the K-ATP channel, induces the passage of calcium into cells, stimulating the secretion of insulin.1
Irritable colon: People with irritable colon are advised to eat a "healthy" diet, which includes fruit, vegetables and fiber. Nucleotides are present in several foods, except fruit and some vegetables. Cells in the gastrointestinal tract have a rapid turnover and require a constant supply of nucleic acids. Exogenous administration of nucleotides can optimize membrane function and improve some of the symptoms of irritable bowel. 2
Atherosclerosis: The transformation of macrophages into foam cells is a key step in the induction of atherosclerotic damage. Stimulation of the A2A receptor produces significant antisclerotic effects, such as inhibition of the inflammatory process, protection from tissue damage, inhibition of the transformation of macrophages into foam cells and regulation of the reverse transport of cholesterol 27-hydroxylase and ABCA 1 Adenosine, as an A2A receptor agonist, can correct or prevent the negative effects of the inflammatory processes involved in cholesterol homeostasis.3
Immunonutrition: Enteral nutrition limits weight loss, treatment interruption and length of hospitalization for patients undergoing radiochemotherapy. Their immune, nutritional or inflammatory status can be modulated using pharmaconutrients.4 Nucleotides are among the most studied molecules for this purpose. When administered, most of them are metabolized by enterocytes, stimulating their proliferation and improving intestinal trophism.5
Oncology: Genomic instability is a characteristic feature of almost all solid tumors and adult-stage leukemias. Among its causes, the "stress" of DNA duplication, caused by the expression of oncogenes, has recently been highlighted. Oncogenes induce cell proliferation even if the nucleotide pool is insufficient to support normal DNA duplication. This leads to impaired DNA replication, resulting in structural damage and genomic instability. The introduction of exogenous nucleotides avoids the stress of DNA duplication, decreases the structural damage of induced replication and reduces the transformation of cells expressing oncogenes.6
