product capable of effectively relieving symptoms related to swelling of both the stomach (aerophagia) and intestines (meteorism) due to gas accumulation. Relieves cramps and associated pains and prevents flatulence and belching.

Components

Simethicone	50 mg
Coal	300 mg
Excipients: maltodextrin; sucrose; microcrystalline cellulose; hydroxypropylmethylcellulose; polyvinylpyrrolidone; colloidal silica; croscarmellose sodium; polyvinylpolypyrrolidone; glycerol behenate; silicon dioxide; vegetable magnesium stearate.

Mechanism of action
The effectiveness of the device is due to the anti-foaming action of the simethicone, combined with the adsorbing action of the activated carbon against intestinal gas: the action is therefore based exclusively on mechanical phenomena. The two-layer conformation of the tablet allows about 50% of the ingredients to be released in the gastric environment within 15 minutes of taking the device, while the complete disintegration of the tablet takes place in the intestinal environment within 1 hour. The components are not absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract and do not interfere with the absorption of nutrients.

How to use
Adults - it is recommended to take 1 or 2 tablets at the end of each main meal up to a maximum of 4 tablets per day.
Children aged 14 to 18 - 1 tablet at the end of each main meal up to a maximum of 2 tablets per day.
Remove the tablet from the blister taking care not to break it and take it with the help of a glass of water.

Known side effects
At the recommended doses, a brown discoloration of the faeces due to the presence of charcoal may be observed. The phenomenon is completely normal and does not imply any pathological significance. There are no known medium / long-term side effects. The device does not adversely affect sensory abilities (level of attention, ability to drive or perform activities.

Simethicone can hinder the effect of some reagents used in diagnostics, such as guaiac gum.

Contraindications and limitations of use
The use of the device is not recommended in case of known hypersensitivity of the user to one of the components.
