Chlorhexidine is a biguanide disinfectant antiseptic with bactericidal and bacteriostatic action. It is particularly effective against gram + / gram - bacteria and some species of Pseudomonas and Proteus. It inhibits mycobacteria and is active on some fungi and viruses.
INDICATIONS
Disinfection and cleaning of injured skin.
CONTRAINDICATIONS / SECONDARY EFFECT
Hypersensitivity to the components.
DOSAGE
After cleaning the affected area, apply the powder or ointment locally and then protect with a bandage or plaster. 2-3 applications per '. SOLUTION: Apply a few drops on the injured part 1-2 times a day; cover with an appropriate dry sterile bandage if necessary.
INTERACTIONS
Avoid the simultaneous use of other antiseptics and detergents.
SIDE EFFECTS
In some cases, intolerance (burning or irritation) and sensitization of the skin, joint irritation is possible.
