How does Nevridol work?

Nevridol is a food supplement whose particular formulation promotes cell trophism and allows an effective antioxidant action. The properties of the elements that characterize the product are:

• Alpha lipoic acid (ALA ), is a rather small molecule made up of 8 carbon atoms and 2 sulfur atoms, therefore it is rapidly absorbed and transported through the cell membrane where it carries out its activities both at the lipid level (cell membrane) and in the aqueous compartments (cell cytoplasm). The antioxidant action of ALA is expressed both in the reduced form (ALA) and in the oxidized form (Lipid dihydroxy acid), thus constituting a broad spectrum antioxidant shield against many species of free radicals. Therefore in the presence of oxidized vitamin C that is no longer active (ascorbic dihedral acid), dihedral lipoic acid, by donating one of its electrons to ascorbic dihedral acid, regenerates the active form of ascorbic acid (vitamin C). The regenerating action is valid for all antioxidants that are no longer active and return to their active form through ALA.
  ALA can increase the effectiveness of insulin in promoting the passage of glucose into the mitochondria of cells. The greater use of glucose in energy processes decreases the concentration of the same glucose in the bloodstream with the consequent reduction of glycaemia and greater efficacy of insulin. improved glucose control may be useful in diabetic neuropathy, insulin resistance, glucose intolerance, diabetes, overweight, arterial hypertension, triglyceridemia and hypercholesterolemia. The antioxidant action of ALA on the nerves constitutes a protection of the nervous structure from degeneration and at the same time increases the speed of nerve transmission with the result of a functional optimization. The normalizing action of ALA towards metabolism and neuronal function can induce an improvement in cases of diabetic neuropathy and nerve sensitivity with reduction of pain and sensory numbness.
