Nutramigen Puramino Hypoallergenic Milk Powder 400 g

Amino acid-based formula for managing the diet of infants and children with severe cow's milk allergy or multiple food allergies.
It is used when an extensively hydrolyzed formula has proved ineffective in managing cow's milk allergy.
This formula can be used for infants and children with multiple food allergies.
For infants with severe reactions to cow's milk protein, an amino acid formula ¹ may be needed.
Unlike extensively hydrolyzed formulas, in which fewer amino acids bind to create short protein chains, the product is composed entirely of amino acids, the small separate blocks that make up proteins; therefore, it does not contain any fragments or proteins of cow's milk to which your baby's body reacts.
100% of cow's milk allergic infants who received the product in clinical trials experienced no allergic reactions or adverse events ² .
In addition to all the nutrients your baby needs to grow and develop, as indicated by the regulations, the product contains an omega-3 fatty acid called DHA.
The level of DHA contained in the product has been shown to contribute to correct visual development (with a daily intake of 100 mg) ¹ .
Age: It is designed to be the sole source of nutrition for infants up to 6 months and the primary source of nutrition in children up to 24 months as part of a progressively diversified (varied) diet.
