Avena sativa - plant that owes its neurosedative properties to the rebalancing and modulating action of GABA and serotonin secretion in the brain.
Melilotus officinalis - plant that owes its narcotic action to the presence of coumarin, a substance with hypnotic and anesthetic action that blocks the excitability of the nervous system.

Valeriana officinalis - herb widespread in Europe and grown in Italy. To date it is not known which of its components is responsible for the sedative action of valerian, which is used in the treatment of insomnia, anxiety states and in cases of exaggerated motor response (tremors, abdominal cramps) and sensitivity (tingling) numbness). It is also an excellent sedative in cases of anxiety and hysteria.
