Features
It is a highly synergistic formula capable of deeply purifying the liver and biliary tract, draining the toxins accumulated in the hepatic-colic circuit. An important role is played by hepato-protective plants, of which the most important is the milk thistle (Silybum marianum) for the flavolignans contained in its seeds and silymarin a complex consisting of three molecules (Sylibina, Silicristina and Silidiamina). Overall, Sylimarin improves the functionality of the hepatocyte with hepatoprotective, antinecrotic and lipotropic activity.
The role of milk thistle flavolignans in the therapy of chronic, toxic liver diseases as well as in liver fibrosis and cirrhosis and as an antidote in Amanita phalloides intoxications has also recently been reconfirmed.
Burdock, in addition to carrying out an antiseptic, antibiotic and hypoglycemic action, is a powerful draining agent for both the liver and the kidneys; Desmodium, a plant of African origin from the legume family, has always been known in traditional medicine for the treatment of important liver diseases. Its action is manifested by rebalancing the values of transaminases and GGTs.
The black radish has a marked action in liver failure due to malfunction of the gallbladder and biliary tract.
Chicory, thanks to the presence of cicoreseic acid, has a choleretic, diuretic and hepatorenal action; the roots contain an antibiotic, chlorogenic acid thanks to which Chicory acts against Brucella and Salmonella; Turmeric is a plant appreciated over the centuries especially in the kitchen as a flavoring and digestive stimulant, with anti-inflammatory, hepatoprotective, choleretic, antioxidant and immunostimulating activity.
