OVERSAL FOLIC Food supplement based on magnesium, zinc and iron, with folic acid, vitamin C and B6, useful in case of: alterations in the water and salt balance, excessive sweating, intense muscle activity, dehydration, heavy menstruation, deficiency / increased needs for Iron and folic acid, pregnancy and lactation, pediatric age.
Magnesium
It is an essential mineral in human nutrition and is involved in a large number of biological functions. It is required for all major metabolic processes, such as cellular energy production, protein synthesis, and plays a crucial role in muscle contraction, nerve conduction and regulation of muscle tone. During pregnancy in particular, the intake of Magnesium prevents the onset of cramps, reduces the risk of high blood pressure and regulates uterine contractions by modulating muscle tone. It also helps in case of tiredness and weakness.
Zinc
It plays important roles in the biological system of the organism, both structural and regulatory of enzymatic reactions. It is also a powerful antioxidant, protects biological membranes from oxidizing agents and has immunomodulatory activity. Zinc is essential for the growth and development of the organism, for sexual maturation and reproduction, for adaptation to night vision, for olfactory and gustatory activities, for the accumulation and release of insulin. It is also important for the skin appendages (skin, hair, nails).
Iron
It is the main oxygen carrier in the blood and the constituent of many metalloenzymes. Its main function is to combine with proteins and copper in the formation of hemoglobin. Hemoglobin carries oxygen through the blood, from the lungs to the tissues, in this way iron determines the quality of the blood and increases resistance to stress and disease, strengthens the immune system, increases energy production and promotes growth in children . Iron is also necessary for the formation of myoglobin present in muscle tissues. Sunactive Fe is a special microencapsulated iron with high bioavailability. Totally tasteless, it does not cause a feeling of heaviness in the stomach, it is highly digestible and has no unpleasant aftertaste when taken.
Folic acid or vitamin B9
It participates in numerous biological processes such as the synthesis of DNA, RNA and proteins. It is required for DNA replication and repair, for the maintenance of genome integrity and is involved in the regulation of gene expression. It also has neuroprotective activity. Low concentrations of folic acid are often associated with cognitive deficits. The intake of folic acid becomes particularly important during pregnancy, when the need for this vitamin increases. Taking folic acid during pregnancy prevents the onset of malformations of the central nervous system in the fetus: spina bifida (non-closure of the neural tube, with alterations of the spinal cord) and anencephaly (incomplete development of the brain).
Vitamin C or Ascorbic Acid
Water-soluble vitamin that carries out numerous actions in the body, the most important of which is that of being a very powerful antioxidant. It also has an immunomodulating and protective action for eyesight and airways. Vitamin C is also involved in the modulation of iron absorption, transport and storage. Specifically, it contributes to the intestinal absorption of iron and to the deposition of iron in the cells. The association of Iron and Vitamin C is therefore important as the latter improves the bioavailability of the mineral.
Vitamin B6
It plays a fundamental role in protein metabolism, for the transformation of tryptophan into niacin and for the formation of neurotransmitters. The need for Vitamin B6 increases in pregnant women. Supplementing Vitamin B6 during pregnancy can reduce ailments such as morning sickness and vomiting. It could also prevent the risk of premature births.

Sucrose; magnesium citrate; sunactive fe- iron pyrophosphate (on maltodextrin contains soy lecithin); citric acid; aroma; ascorbic acid; sweetener: acesulfame K zinc oxide; pyridoxine hydrochloride (Vitamin B6); pteroyl-monoglutamic acid (Folic acid).

How to use
We recommend taking one sachet a day. During pregnancy we recommend taking 2 sachets.
