How does Pergam Keraflex Lipogel scar treatment work?

Keraflex lipogel is a preparation specifically designed for the prevention and treatment of retracted or hypertrophic scars, keloids, hyperkeratosis and, in general, skin imperfections characterized by thickening and inelasticity.

• The waxes , which make up the occlusive base, prevent the loss of water by transpiration, oxidation by oxygen in the air and favor the penetration of active substances through the epidermis;
• Carbocysteine and malic acid neutralize free radicals and promote the reduction of hypertrophic tissue where present;
• Allantoin and urea cause partial interruption of inter and intra molecular bonds in keratins, with an increase in free hydrophilic polar sites: emollient effect, reduction of hyperkeratosis;
• Glycosaminoglycansulphate , mucopolysaccharide with a high content of dermatan sulphate with its film-forming activity favors the structuring of the tissue in the regeneration phase.

How to use

Apply several times a day in a thin layer on the area to be treated and massage until completely absorbed. In the most stubborn cases, it is recommended to spread Keraflex lipogel in an abundant layer at night, protecting with a bandage. For the treatment of extensive scars it is recommended to use lipogel also for wound massage during rehabilitation. Use as a preventative can avoid additional interventions or transplants.

Warnings and Contraindications

External use.
Avoid contact with eyes.
Apply on limited surfaces.
Storage period after first opening: 8 months.
After opening, it is recommended to keep the tube tightly closed.
In case of irritation due to hypersensitivity to the components, please discontinue use.
