Propolis
Resinous substance characterized from the organoleptic point of view by an aromatic perfume and shades ranging from light yellow to dark brown. It is a product of vegetable origin that is collected, processed and enriched by bees in order to seal, strengthen and repair the internal wall of the hive (including the honeycombs). Propolis contains multiple compounds (about 200) whose quantity varies according to the geographical origin of the product: flavonoids (galangin, pinocembrina, quercetin, etc.), aromatic hydroxy acids and their esters (caffeic, ferulic, cinnamic, etc.), aldehydes (vanillin), hydrocarbons, aliphatic acids, vitamins, minerals, etc. Propolis has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties that can contribute to its effectiveness in inflammatory states of the oral cavity. The antibacterial activity was evaluated both in vitro and in vivo on different bacterial strains. However, propolis is attributed bacteriostatic, bactericidal, antifungal and antiviral activity. The anti-inflammatory activity is attributable to the phenylethyl ester of caffeic acid (CAPE) and to flavonoids such as galangin.

* PropolORO is the name of an association of a dewaxed propolis extract and an extract from the flowering tops of heather (Sisymbrium officinale).

How to use
Melt 3 to 6 candies per day in your mouth.
