Erism (Sisymbrium officinale Scopoli)
Plant 40 to 100 cm tall belonging to the Cruciferous family. It has a stiff and robust stem, large leaves divided into lobes. The flowers are small, pale yellow. Common in uncultivated land and near population centers throughout Europe. Known but not widespread on the American continent.
Parts used: inflorescences and leaves.
Active ingredients: glucosinolates, xylitol, flavonoids and mucilages.
Properties: anti-inflammatory, emollient, antispasmodic and astringent.
Erysimus is particularly indicated in the treatment of hoarseness and aphonies as it alleviates painful symptoms due to dryness and inflammation of the larynx and pharynx, which cause vocal effort (singers, lecturers). The anti-inflammatory activity of the respiratory tract, expectorant and mucolytic, makes it suitable for coughs and tracheitis. Erysme contains a sulphured essential oil which, coming into contact with the mucous membrane of the mouth and pharynx, through a reflex mechanism causes a greater supply of blood to the larynx and bronchi, thus favoring mucous secretion and expectoration. It has antitussive (calms cough and throat irritation), anti-inflammatory and expectorant properties. It is very useful in case of pharyngitis, hoarseness or aphonia caused by laryngitis (inflammation of the vocal cords) and bronchitis.

Erisimo extract (Sisymbrium officinale Scop.); marshmallow extract (Althaea officinalis L.); elecampane extract (Inula helenium L.); sundew extract (Drosera rotundifolia L.); menthol; eucalyptol.

How to use
Melt 3 to 6 candies per day in your mouth.
