COMPOSITION
Each tablet contains:

600 mg of BioCell Collagen® - hydrolyzed collagen of which hyaluronic acid: 60 mg, chondroitin sulphate: 120 mg and collagen proteins: 360 mg 200 GDU of Bromelain from Pineapple Stem 5 mg of Zinc 1 mg of Manganese 0.5 mg of Copper 5 μg of Vitamin D3.

THE JOINTS
The joints constitute the connection system between two or more bone segments, interconnected through the connective tissues. They perform three main functions: structural (they join the various bones together), dynamic (allow movement) and shock absorber (absorb stresses).
The cartilage matrix of which the joints are composed essentially consists of extracellular fibers (collagen and elastin), water and amorphous substance (proteoglycans). Collagen is the most abundant structural protein in vertebrates. About 90% of vertebrate cartilage tissues are made up of type II collagen.
Collagen provides resistance and elasticity to the tissues.
Proteoglycans are a protein-carbohydrate complex that forms a viscous matrix that connects the fibrous and cellular components of cartilage. They are composed of a very long filamentous structure of hyaluronic acid, proteins and GAG - glycosaminoglycans.
They provide lubrication and absorb the compressive forces exerted on the joints.
GAGs include hyaluronic acid and chondroitin sulfate and all are derived from glucosamine and galacto samina.
The complex joint structure is often subject to injuries, which can be of two types: from trauma (injuries, surgery, etc.) from progressive degeneration (for example osteoarthritis).
In the first case the joints undergo a violent and abrupt insult that alters their correct functionality, in the second case the joint structures undergo a slow and progressive wear.
In both cases it is possible to intervene with a chondroprotector capable of positively influencing the cartilage metabolism.

BioCell Collagen®
BioCell Collagen® is type II hydrolyzed collagen with a standardized content of hyaluronic acid and chondroitin sulphate. The molecules of collagen, hyaluronic acid and chondroitin sulfate, with a high molecular weight, are poorly absorbable by mouth. Thanks to the patented manufacturing process, BioCell Collagen® offers maximum bioavailability and maximum effectiveness.
The collagen, hyaluronic acid and chondroitin sulphate contained in BioCell Collagen® have a lower molecular weight which allows for high absorption. BioCell Collagen® therefore provides a pool of fundamental elements for cartilage structure and functionality:

Chondroitin sulfate is the GAG present in higher concentration in the cartilage. It has an anabolic effect (contributes to the production of proteoglycans and hyaluronic acid), anti-catabolic (inhibition of collagenase, hyaluronidase and elastase activity) and a mild anti-inflammatory effect. Hyaluronic acid: glycosaminoglycan essential for the integrity of the connective tissue. It constitutes the "skeleton" of proteoglycans and is the main component of the synovial fluid of the joints.

BROMELAIN from Pineapple Stem
Bromelain, a proteolytic enzyme present in the pineapple stem extract, has an anti-inflammatory, anti-inflammatory and anti-edematous action. Used for some time in the treatment of inflammatory states also associated with the presence of edema, thanks to its properties, it is very effective in reducing swelling and pain after trauma to the joints. Useful in all conditions in which there is an overproduction of phlogogenic substances, such as in inflammatory, traumatic and painful processes.

ZINC
Zinc contributes to the maintenance of normal bones and to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.

MANGANESE
Manganese contributes to the maintenance of normal bones, to the normal formation of connective tissues and to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.

COPPER
Copper contributes to the maintenance of normal connective tissues and to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.

VITAMIN D
Vitamin D contributes to the normal absorption / use of calcium and phosphorus and to normalize calcium levels in the blood. It also contributes to the maintenance of normal bones and the maintenance of normal muscle function.
