Sofargelgel With Sulfadiazine Argentica 3g

SOFARGEL _3g CE product, class IIa. Hydrogel with silver sulfadiazine, in the local treatment of skin lesions, such as: abrasions, grazes, cuts, wounds, skin irritations and dermatological diseases in general. It can be used as a moisturizer to keep the wound bed moist and prevent infections or as a cleanser to remove non-viable fragments and accumulations of fibrin.
The consistent aqueous content (95%) favors the maintenance of an optimal humid microenvironment and an effective autolytic action.
Silver sulfadiazine (1%) creates an effective barrier to exogenous agents and prevents contamination and bacterial colonization of the dressing.

How to use
After proper cleansing of the lesion, apply a uniform layer of SofarGEL 2 or 3 mm thick on the affected surfaces. The GEL can be applied either directly on the lesions, or previously spread on a sterile gauze to obtain the moisturizing effect or on a polyurethane or semi-occlusive dressing as a detergent. SofarGEL is also a valid substitute for the more commonly used hydrogels.
The application of the GEL must continue without interruption once or twice a day, as long as there is the possibility of infection and until complete healing, both in spontaneous and surgical repairs. At each renewal of the application, thoroughly cleanse the lesions with water or physiological solution.
